Hmm, you know: recent posts, related posts, recent comments, etc. dorn the right sidebar, but only comments if you encourage comments, right? :).
Also, I'm not sure if this project is still a personal blog, or whether it's a soapbox of sorts for a specific purpose… in which case, I'm not sure where you're going with it.
