Description

Morydd requested proof that I had just returned from sketching in the city of Amsterdam. Well here's your proof! This is a close up of one of the figures in Rembrandt's Nightwatch. This was sketched from a statue, not the painting. Not my best work, but since I haven't seriously drawn in 5-6 years, I take what I can get I guess.

Ah, but it all comes back. I'm a bit rusty myself but when pen meets paper (or stylus meets Wacom) the power of Grayscale comes back!

how long did you take to do this? where you trying or distracted? it looks really good for a rusty old man. love you

It was about 15 minutes, I was trying and it was very distracting since people were walking in front of me, around me and bumping into me. Also, it was awkward holding the cahier while trying to sketch. I need a portable easel!
